Hacienda del Mar - Beachfront Hacienda in the Heart of Los Barriles

Set along the golden sands of Los Barriles, Hacienda del Mar is a true East Cape classic—a spacious beachfront estate built for gathering family and friends by the Sea of Cortez. With seven bedrooms, six and a half baths, and roughly 6,700 square feet of single-level living, this home combines the spirit of traditional Mexican architecture with the comfort and practicality of modern upgrades.

A peaceful courtyard sits at the center of the home, surrounded by flowering plants and the sound of a fountain. The main living area stretches more than forty feet, blending a warm sitting area with fireplace, dining room, and open kitchen featuring a large marble island, new cabinetry, and updated appliances. The layout includes two primary suites, a private guest casita, and four additional bedroomsthree with ensuite baths and one designed as a cheerful kids' bunk room. The spaces flow easily toward the wide oceanfront terrace, where an infinity pool and hot tub overlook the Sea of Cortez. From here, steps lead directly down to the sand for morning walks or sunset swims.

A large palapa entertainment room anchors the ocean side of the home, providing a flexible space for celebrations, games, or quiet evenings by the sea. It's perfect for hosting weddings, reunions, or relaxed Baja evenings with friends.

Recent improvements include new kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, upgraded appliances, fresh furnishings, pebble tec shower floors, and a new fiber optic internet connection. The property runs entirely on solar power with a 25kw system and backup generator, and features city water, UV filtration, dual pilas, and smart home pool controls.

Designed for easy living and shared memories, Hacienda del Mar blends timeless Baja architecture with thoughtful modern touchessteps from town, yet worlds away from everyday life.
