Start with the terminologyUse the right source for the question
Start by identifying the question the page is supposed to answer
A page about Cabo San Lucas can describe the city, display a property search, explain a purchase process, discuss ownership planning, or examine one property type. Those jobs are different. Before relying on any page, note whether it is a geographic guide, an educational guide, a service page, or a current data surface.
This page is a navigator, not a substitute for those resources. It helps you name the research task and move to the page designed for it. A broad Cabo label, a familiar community name, or a polished property card does not by itself establish geography, legal identity, availability, or suitability.
Define the geography
Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, and the corridors are not interchangeable
Cabo San Lucas is one city within the wider Los Cabos market. Pages using Cabo as shorthand may refer to the city, the municipality, the Pacific side, the Cabo Corridor, the San José Corridor, San José del Cabo, or a still broader regional search. Confirm the page's stated boundaries instead of inferring them from the title.
For city context, use the Cabo San Lucas area guide. For a regional comparison, use the Los Cabos property guide. For a corridor or community question, follow the relevant canonical area page. This keeps a location decision from being reduced to interchangeable search phrases.
Marketing language is not legal identity
Decode property and community labels before comparing options
House, villa, home, residence, condominium, homesite, resort residence, and branded residence can describe different physical products or simply reflect marketing language. Confirm the legal property, parcel or unit, condominium or subdivision regime, included areas, access, parking, storage, fixtures, and any shared obligations for an identified property.
The same caution applies to gated, beachfront, ocean-view, golf, club, hotel-serviced, furnished, or rental-ready descriptions. A label does not prove a view corridor, access right, transferable membership, operating service, rental permission, included furniture, or future condition. Those points require current property documents and appropriate professional review.
Use an evidence ladder
Read a property page as a set of claims to verify
Record the page date, data source, stated geography, currency, asking-price date, property status, legal identity, and unresolved fields. Separate seller or broker representations from title, registry, survey, condominium, association, permit, inspection, insurance, and transaction records. A cached page or historical card is not current inventory.
If a page does not identify its source and update time, treat it as orientation only. Reconfirm status, price, included items, seller authority, fees, rules, services, and availability before travel, inspection, deposits, or professional work. Obtain property-specific legal, tax, finance, engineering, appraisal, and insurance advice where relevant.
Make a clean handoff
Choose the next resource by user job
Use the city area guide for everyday geographic context; the homes page for a current criteria-based search; the houses page for detached-house questions; the buyer's guide for the purchase sequence; the ownership-planning guide for adviser roles and decision gates; and the luxury guide for high-end property diligence. Each destination has a narrower job than this navigator.
If you already have an identified property, send the legal name, marketed name, route or listing reference, location, price and currency shown, source date, claimed status, and the questions that remain open. That handoff is more useful than forwarding an undated screenshot or assuming that a page title establishes the facts.

Bring one research question and the source behind it
Share the property or community name, source page, date, currency, status shown, and the point you need to verify. The consultation can then begin with a defined question rather than a broad or stale page label.
